The invaders have increased their presence on the Kinburn and Tendriv spits, as they are afraid of a possible forcing of these territories by the Defense Forces.

The Russian invaders strengthened their positions on the Tendrivska spit with a division of river boats. This was announced by the spokesman of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn, during the telethon.

Voloshyn also noted that a few weeks ago the invaders increased their presence on the Kinburn spit because they are afraid of a possible forcing of this territory by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

“Kinburn Spit is a bridgehead from where it is convenient to fire at Ochakiv and the coastal areas. But it is very difficult to conduct offensive operations from this direction. They increased their contingent to secure themselves and prevent our forces from forcing the spit and capturing the bridgehead,” he explained.

As USM previously wrote, the Russians need the Kinburn spit to block the Mykolaiv port.
