The cost of sunflower meal is increasing in Ukrainian ports

The increase in prices continues for the seventh week in a row under the influence of global trends in the market of oil crops and active demand from exporters.

Prices for sunflower meal in Ukrainian ports have been rising for the seventh week in a row, following the trends in the world market of oil crops. “APK-Inform” writes about this.

Also, price growth is supported by active demand from exporters.

As of October 21, demand prices for sunflower meal reached 225 USD/t on SRT-port terms. This figure is USD 30/t higher than at the end of the 2023/24 season.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of the 2024/25 season, Ukraine has already exported almost 432,000 tons of sunflower meal and cake.
