Most farmers have suspended the sale of rapeseed and switched to sunflower

The reasons were the actual halt in exports from Ukraine and difficult conditions for sowing the new crop.
Rapeseed quotations on the Paris stock exchange increased by 1.7% to €467/t after a six-month low. This was reported reported by Grain Trade.
Thus, the EU market will experience a significant reduction in supplies of Ukrainian rapeseed in the new season. Against the backdrop of a shortage of sunflower, domestic plants are actively buying up grain for processing, while export channels are practically blocked.
The law on a 10% duty on rapeseed and soybean exports came into force on September 4, but due to the lack of clear instructions from the Ministry of Finance and the tax authority, customs cannot determine who exactly should pay the duty. This created chaos in the market and effectively stopped external shipments.
Processors reduced purchase prices by UAH 500–1,000/t, to UAH 22.5–23.5 thousand/t with delivery to the plant.
The day before, USM wrote that prices for export barley in Ukraine are falling following wheat and corn.
