Special operations forces hit a Russian warship in the Republic of Karelia


The Special Operation Forces hit the Grad missile ship of project 21631 “Buyan-M” in Lake Onega (Republic of Karelia, subject of the Russian Federation).

On the morning of October 4, one of the units hit the small missile ship “Grad” (side number 575) of project 21631 “Buyan-M” in Lake Onega, the Special Operation Forces reported.

The missile carrier was traveling from the Baltic to the Caspian Sea. The damage occurred in the right part of the ship’s power plant compartment. Additional details are being clarified.

The hit “Grad” is one of the newest and most modern ships of the Russian Federation, commissioned into the Russian Baltic Fleet on December 29, 2022. The ship’s main armament is the Kalibr-NK missile system.

Let us recall that on September 11 of this year, it became known that Defense Intelligence fighters hit a ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet near Novorossiysk.
