Ukrainian export wheat prices rise again due to active demand

Grain prices are supported by both the domestic market and exports, while farmers are holding back sales in anticipation of more favorable conditions.
A gradual increase in prices has been recorded on the Ukrainian wheat market. This is reported by APK-Inform.
Last week, the market demonstrated an upward trend, which was supported by stable demand from domestic and export-oriented companies. At the same time, the volume of offers remained limited, since farmers were in no hurry to sell, counting on further price growth.
Most market participants limited sales to small batches, while individual companies worked on the basis of previously purchased volumes, maintaining stable price levels.
As of the end of October, demand for grade 2 wheat is within 9700–10700 UAH/t CPT, for feed – 8800–9900 UAH/t CPT.
We also recall that on October 29, new trade rules between Ukraine and the EU came into force, which provide for the expansion of tariff quotas and the reduction of import duties for Ukrainian goods.
