Greek and Turkish tankers were loading at the port of Tuapse during the attack

On the night of November 2, three tankers were in the port of Tuapse on the Black Sea – two Greek and one Turkish.

This was reported by the head of the project of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies Andriy Klymenko.

According to him, a fire broke out on one of the tankers that were in the port of Tuapse during the Ukrainian attack on the oil terminal.

“The collapse of the concept of the “shadow fleet”: during the attack in the port of Tuapse, two Greek and one Turkish tankers were loading. It is very interesting – will there be notes of protest from Greece and Turkey,” Andriy Klymenko wrote.

Yes, we are talking about the Greek tankers Pollux (IMO:9243320) and Coast Buster (IMO:9312913), as well as the Turkish Chai (IMO:9275402).

It is known that the crew was evacuated from the ship on which the fire broke out.

As a reminder, on the night of November 2, a tanker and terminal facilities caught fire in the Russian port of Tuapse as a result of a drone attack.
