The Shipping Administration held a meeting on the digital development of the maritime industry

The digital transformation team of the Shipping Administration held a meeting with a delegation of the Estonian Center for International Development (ESTDEV).

This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Shipping Administration for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization, Serhiy Maksimov.  

“During the meeting, we discussed the progress of the initiative to develop the information and communication system of ships in Ukraine and identified further steps for cooperation,” Serhiy Maksimov emphasized.

In particular, the ESTDEV delegation reported that the competition to determine the winner who will implement this project for the Shipping Administration is nearing completion. It is expected that the winner will be announced in the coming days.

He also noted that cooperation with ESTDEV is part of the systematic work on the modernization of maritime digital infrastructure with the support of international partners.

Recall that in June 2025, Ukraine and Estonia agreed to cooperate on IT solutions for the maritime sector.
