The government has simplified the mechanism for exempting agricultural producers from export duties on soybeans and rapeseed

The Government has simplified the mechanism for confirming the right of agricultural producers to be exempted from export duties on soybeans and rapeseed.

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has improved the mechanism for confirming the right of agricultural producers and cooperatives to be exempted from paying export duties on self-grown soybeans and rapeseed.

Thus, the new Procedure for verifying agricultural producers and cooperatives will be carried out automatically through the State Agrarian Register (DAR). This will allow confirming the right of exporters to be exempted from paying export duties without additional bureaucratic procedures – without conclusions from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).

At the same time, the Government recognized as invalid certain resolutions, the practical implementation of which caused numerous appeals from agricultural producers due to the complexity and imperfection of the mechanism for confirming the origin of products.

“We are improving the mechanism that will allow agricultural producers and cooperatives to exercise their right to exemption from export duty when supplying soybeans and rapeseed abroad more quickly, without unnecessary administrative burden. Maximum automation of the process through DAR will minimize bureaucracy and make the procedure more convenient for business,” said Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky.

Exemption from payment of export duty will be granted within the limits of the volumes of soybeans and/or rapeseed grown in the current marketing year, as well as the remains of the harvest of the previous marketing year – from the 2026/2027 marketing year.

Earlier, USM reported that the Ministry of Economy revised the minimum prices for agricultural exports: rapeseed has been the most expensive.
