UDS announced 5 million euros in profits for January-May


The Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company reported a profit of 5 million euros in the first five months of 2026.

This was announced on the company’s website.

The head of the UDS, Volodymyr Tostogan, said that in the first five months of 2026, the shipping company’s profits amounted to more than 5 million euros.

The main cargoes are grain, iron ore raw materials, metal, coke, coal, fertilizers. The total deadweight of the fleet is over 550 thousand tons.

Tostogan also noted that the main areas of activity of PrJSC “UDS” are cargo transportation, namely the export of grain from the ports of the Danube to Constanta (Romania), as well as iron ore raw materials to Serbia with reverse loading, namely grain in Constanta.

Currently, the company’s management is conducting operational work to attract additional cargo owners in order to increase the cargo base and bring the shipping company to a profitable level, Tostogan said.

UDS also claims that this year the amount of cargo transported by the company will almost double compared to 2025, and will amount to 1-1.2 million tons.

Earlier, USM reported that UDS announced a tender for the audit of financial statements for 2022-2023.
