Preparations for reorganization underway at the port of Pivdennyi

SE “MTP “Pivdennyi” continues the set of measures necessary for work in the new organizational and legal form.
The enterprise is continuing the inventory of assets, updating property documentation and improving internal procedures in accordance with the requirements of current legislation, SE “MTP “Pivdennyi” reported.
Preparation for reorganization includes not only legal procedures. It involves systematizing information about the enterprise’s property, increasing the efficiency of asset management and creating conditions for stable work after the transition is completed.
At the same time, work continues at the state level to improve legislation in the field of state property management.
“In particular, a draft law has been registered that provides for the regulation of certain issues related to state property in seaports,” the port reported.
Director of the State Enterprise “MTP “Pivdennyi” Artem Lytvynov noted that in addition to changing the organizational and legal form of the enterprise, this stage is also used to streamline internal processes, ensure transparent asset management and create a basis for stable and effective operation of the enterprise in the future.
“Our task is to go through this stage while maintaining the stable operation of the enterprise and the entire team,” Artem Lytvynov emphasized.
As previously reported by USM, Ukrainian ports are being reorganized into partnerships instead of state-owned enterprises. Among the state-owned enterprises subject to reorganization, there are seven Ukrainian ports.
