Kernel increased the volume of grain exports, transshipment and storage

The company summed up the results of the 2026 fiscal year, while noting that the new season began in conditions of increased military risks for port infrastructure.

According to the results of the year, grain exports increased by 15% year-on-year — to 6.3 million tons. The volume of agricultural products transshipment reached 9.6 million tons, which is 5% more than a year earlier.

The company’s elevator network received 4.3 million tons of grain and oilseeds, which is 60% higher than the previous fiscal year. The company explains this by a larger share of corn in the 2025 harvest structure and an increase in grain volumes from partners.

Despite the deficit of sunflower due to a weaker harvest last year, Kernel processed 3.2 million tons of oilseeds, partially compensating for the shortage at the expense of soybeans and rapeseed. Sales of vegetable oils increased by 2% for the year to 1.44 million tons.

Kernel noted that in the 2027 fiscal year, the company plans to adapt operational processes to security challenges, support agricultural producers, and ensure business sustainability amid threats to Ukrainian port infrastructure.

Earlier, it became known that Kernel reduced oilseed processing by 32% in the fourth quarter of the 2026 fiscal year.
