About 20 ships are waiting near Sulina and Bystre

As of July 27, there are about 20 vessels on the roads of the Sulina and Bystre canals, but some of them do not yet have a confirmed freight.
This was reported by the operational manager of Avalon Shipping, Kateryna Kononenko.
Over the past weekend, ten vessels under agency escort passed through the Sulina channel. As Kononenko notes, favorable weather conditions currently allow maintaining a high rate of passage of ships.
The maximum safe draft for passing through the Sulina Canal is 7.01 m, the Bystre Canal is 5.5 m. The maximum safe draft is 6.7 m in the section from Izmail to the 44th mile.
Previously, USM reported that there is no agitation on the Danube despite the attack on Ukrainian ports.
