On the night of September 10, drones attacked port infrastructure in two Russian cities at once — Makhachkala on the Caspian Sea and Sochi on the Black Sea.

This is reported by local monitoring channels.

In Makhachkala, the Russian authorities confirmed a drone strike on a commercial seaport. As a result of falling debris, fires broke out at port infrastructure facilities.

In parallel, on the evening of September 9 and the night of September 10, explosions were heard in the Sochi port area. Monitoring channels reported an attack by naval drones on port infrastructure.

The Russian operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory confirmed the drone attack, a fire on the embankment, and damage to the infrastructure of the beach and the adjacent territory. Due to the threat of an attack, residents were urged not to approach the embankment.

Earlier, USM reported that a naval base was hit in Novorossiysk: Russian warships were attacked.
