The port of Olvia has handled 3 million tons of cargo since the beginning of the year

Transshipment of cargoes in the specialized seaport (SSP) Olvia from the beginning of 2021 amounted to more than 3 million tons.
At the beginning of the year, 253 vessel calls were recorded at the port, according to the main dispatching office of the Olvia branch of the SE “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority”. In total, EVT Grain LLC handled 1.75 million tons of cargo, State Enterprise “Stevedoring Company “Olvia ” – 1.26 million tons.
Transshipment of export cargo amounted to 2.74 million tons, cabotage – 160.1 thousand tons, import – 103.03 thousand tons, transit – 0.52 thousand tons.
The range of transshipment is dominated by grain – 1.53 million tons, construction cargo – 685.85 thousand tons and ferrous metals – 376.71 thousand tons, as well as other bulk cargo – 292.89 thousand tons.
As USM previously reported, SE “USPA” has completed operational dredging in the port of Olvia.
