Ukrainian seafarers began their practice on an Island-type boat in the USA

The crew of the Ukrainian Navy for the fifth Island-type patrol boat began practical exercises at sea in the United States.
In Baltimore, testing and training of the crew of the fifth Island-type patrol boat for the Ukrainian Navy began. Now the Ukrainian crew has gone to sea, and all their actions are being evaluated by the US Coast Guard. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Navy.
After passing the exercises on the high seas, the crew of the Ukrainian Navy will have to pass exams and be certified. After training, the crew will be able to continue serving on Island-type boats already in Ukraine.
As USM previously reported, three more Island-type boats will arrive in Ukraine by the end of 2021. At the moment, the Ukrainian Navy has two boats of this type: Starobelsk and Slavyansk.
