Panamax under the flag of Liberia was accepted for repair in Chornomorsk

The bulk carrier STEFANOS T of the panamax class was delivered to the dock of the Illichivsk shipyard (Chornomorsk) for repairs.
According to the press service of the plant, the 229-meter vessel is 29 meters longer than the repair dock, so a pontoon was brought under the stern of the bulk carrier.
The hull work, repair of the propeller-rudder system, and installation of a modular ballast water treatment system will be carried out.
STEFANOS T was built in 2011, flies the flag of Liberia, home port is Valletta (Malta). Deadweight – 80499 tons.
This is the second bulk carrier of this size, which was accepted for repair by the Illichivsk shipyard. In August, a similar vessel entered the plant, it was a record then.
