The Ministry of Infrastructure has supplemented the Procedure for collecting fines for violation of legislation on inland water transport.
The department developed these rules back in December last year, to implement the provisions of Art. 74 of the Law “On Inland Water Transport”, which entered into force on January 1st.
The new version of the Order was supplemented with the following points:
- the business entity that paid the fine must notify the State Maritime and River Transport Service (Maritime Administration) of this within three days;
- the message is drawn up arbitrarily in electronic form or in the form of a paper document, to which proof of payment of the fine is attached (certified copies of the payment order or bank receipt);
- a message in the form of a paper document is sent to the postal address of the territorial body of the Maritime Administration;
- an electronic notification can be sent to the official e-mail of the territorial body of the Maritime Administration, in the form of scanned copies or using a qualified electronic signature.
Until February 26th, comments and suggestions to the draft act can be submitted to the Maritime and River Transport Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
