A mine was destroyed in the Black Sea near Turkey

The Turkish Navy destroyed a sea mine found in the waters of the Black Sea west of Istanbul.
The mine was discovered near the city of Kirklareli, the press service of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense reported. The Underwater Defense Team (SAS) was immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident. The mine was located and defused.
This is the fourth sea mine defused near the Turkish coast since the beginning of the russian military invasion of Ukraine.
As previously reported by USM, a minesweeper of the Romanian Navy came across a mine that it had to defuse in the Black Sea.
