Another tanker damaged by attack runs aground off the coast of Turkey

The Liberian-flagged tanker BANDA ran aground on the Black Sea coast of Turkey near the Bosphorus. The vessel had previously been attacked by naval drones in the Novorossiysk area.
This was reported by Maritime.bg.
The BANDA (IMO 9337406) was attacked on July 14 approximately 70 nautical miles southwest of the Russian port of Novorossiysk. After the attack, the Ukrainian side released a video of the naval drones that hit the vessel.
After the tanker was damaged, a rescue operation began that lasted about five weeks. In the second half of August, the BANDA was towed to the Istanbul area.
This is the second previously damaged tanker to run aground off the Turkish Black Sea coast in the past two days. On October 14, the tanker Grace Romavictor, which had also previously been attacked in the Novorossiysk area, washed ashore in the Çatalca area.
