Ukrainian mariners were given the term of documents

The Ministry of Infrastructure has extended the validity of seafarers’ qualification documents until June 30, 2023.

The term of validity of qualification documents has been extended both for seafarers who are on shore and for those who are on board, reports the Trade Union of Maritime Transport Workers of Ukraine. The seafarers’ documents have been extended until June 30, 2023, and POM (seafarers’ identity card) – until June 31 December 2023.

As previously reported by the USM, for the departure of Ukrainian sailors abroad an algorithm was developed for obtaining a document that should be issued at territorial recruitment centers.
