Karpowership will not supply power vessels to Ukraine
The Turkish company Karpowership has changed its mind to base generator ships near Odesa.
Karpowership plans to supply electricity (300-400 megawatts) to Ukraine via Moldova and Romania. The president of the company, Zeynep Kharezi, told about this in an interview with Anadolu Agency.
She emphasized that the company was negotiating with Odesa Regional Military Administration, but they said that any property going to Ukraine cannot be insured yet. Therefore, Regional Military Administration will not be able to guarantee the safety of ships to the company.
There are power lines between Romania, Moldova and Ukraine, so the company can place ships in Romania and Moldova and supply electricity via power lines to Ukraine from there.
