Sweden handed Ukraine 4 boats that can be used as pontoon crossings
The Kingdom of Sweden handed over 4 boats that can be used as pontoon crossings to the Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure. 14 sections of pontoons were also handed over.
The structures have already arrived in Ukraine. They are promptly unloaded to be sent to the required location, the Ministry of Reconstruction said.
“In the conditions of russian aggression, temporary bridges are a quick and effective way to restore the transport connection of the liberated regions with the rest of the country.
In addition to Sweden, the Czech Republic, France and Norway have already handed over structures for the construction of temporary crossings to Ukraine,” the ministry reported.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, russian federation has destroyed 153 bridges and overpasses in Ukraine. So far, 80 temporary crossings have been restored.
