Action plan: what Ukraine offers to solve the grain problem
The presented Action Plan will help solve the problems of importing Ukrainian grain to five neighboring EU countries.
During the meeting of the Coordination Platform, which was created to solve the import problem, Ukraine presented the Action Plan, writes Укрінформ Ukrinform.
As the spokeswoman of the European Commission, Miriam García Ferrer, noted, this plan will allow stricter control over exports from Ukraine to be established. In particular, to avoid further destabilization of agricultural markets in the EU countries, which were previously banned.
“We can confirm that we held the 10th meeting of the Coordination Platform. This meeting was important. Ukraine, as stipulated last Friday, has already submitted some proposals to the Action Plan, which will include several parts. One of them involves the exchange of information and data on the export of agricultural products to the countries concerned, the exchange of information on the destination countries for exports from Ukraine,” said Miriam García Ferrer.
The action plan also provides for the creation of a verification and monitoring mechanism, the introduction of a license system for better control over export operations.
