After the drone explosion in the port of Constanta, Romania accelerated military communication with Ukraine

After the incident with the explosion of a Ukrainian drone in the port of Constanta in June, the military of Romania and Ukraine established a direct communication channel in almost real time.
This was stated by the acting Minister of Defense of Romania, Radu Miruce, on the air of B1 TV, Digi24 reports.
According to him, after the incident, the Romanian side requested the establishment of direct contact between representatives of the naval forces of the two countries.
Now the parties can quickly confirm or deny information about individual incidents for which the Romanian military needs additional data.
Miruce also commented on the explosion of a drone in Bulgaria at the end of last week. According to him, Romanian radars did not record this drone in the airspace of the country.
The Ukrainian side also reported that it has no confirmation that the drone arrived from the territory of Romania.
Bulgaria is investigating the incident, since the wreckage of the drone fell on its territory.
Previously, the port of Constanta was given three months to strengthen its defenses after the drone explosion.
