Agroholding “MHP” invested in the development of maritime logistics

The investment in KTL Ukraine will allow MHP agricultural holding to expand in maritime logistics.

In September, Agroholding “MHP” officially became the legal owner of KK&Sons (70%), which is also a 100% owner of KTL Ukraine, writes APC-Inform.

The deal took about 10 months to ensure a balanced transition for the team. One of the reasons for the deal is that the team has significant industry expertise.

“The investment in KTL Ukraine will allow us to scale up in maritime logistics to help Ukrainian companies more effectively overcome logistical challenges. We will strengthen both our positions and the competitiveness of our partners,” said Oleg Upatov, director of MHP-Logistics.

We will remind you that in April 2024, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine granted permission to MHP agricultural holding to acquire the logistics company KTL Ukraine.

According to YouControl, the ultimate beneficiaries of the company KK & Sons Group LTD are Andriy Kuzmin, Ihor Khokhlov and Serhiy Kochergin from Odessa. In Ukraine, this company owns KTL Ukraine, which is engaged, in particular, in sea container transportation, cargo transshipment and ship chartering.
