Russia resumes diesel exports through Baltic port of Primorsk

Russia has resumed diesel fuel supplies to key foreign markets, including Turkey and Brazil, after the lifting of export restrictions.

This was reported by Reuters, citing data from Kpler and LSEG.

According to ship tracking services, the tanker Leruo left the Russian port of Primorsk in the Baltic Sea on October 16 and indicated the Brazilian port of Manaus as its destination.

Another tanker, Dolunay, departed from Primorsk for Alanya, Turkey, on October 14. According to Kpler, each of the vessels carries about 300,000 barrels of diesel fuel.

After the lifting of restrictions, Russian diesel fuel also began to flow to Morocco.

Since the beginning of the year, Turkey has received about 34% of Russian diesel exports, Brazil – 24%, Morocco – about 10%.

The resumption of supplies came after the US issued a temporary license allowing the supply of Russian diesel fuel to the world market.

Earlier, Trump announced an agreement with Putin on the supply of more than 4.8 million tons of diesel.
