Exports through the grain corridor fell by 22% due to russia

From December 5 to 11, 657.2 thousand tons of agricultural products were exported through the sea ports of the Odesa region, which is 22% less than the shipment through this channel a week ago.
During this week, 19 ships were loaded, which is four units less than the previous week, reports UKAB.
“This week, to the traditional delay in passing inspections in the Bosphorus, russia added problems with power supply to ports due to shelling and blackout of the entire infrastructure, which further slowed down the shipping process,” the association emphasized.
According to UKAB’s calculations, the largest volumes of exports during the specified period were: corn (49% of exports during this period); wheat (24%); rape (13%). Ukrainian products went to the countries of Europe (Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands and others), Asia (Turkey, China, India and others) and Africa (Egypt, Somalia).
