Grain terror: 10 million people were on the verge of starvation due to the actions of the Russians

The Russian Federation destroyed the amount of grain in Ukraine that could have fed more than 10 million people.

The invaders destroyed as much Ukrainian grain as would be enough to save at least 10 million people from starvation. This was stated by US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin, Ukrinform reports.

Russian attacks on grain infrastructure destroyed at least 280,000 tons of grain. This could be enough to feed 10.5 million people for a year. Russia’s actions continue to threaten global food security and create conditions for a new humanitarian crisis on the planet, the minister noted.

Austin emphasized that more than 50 countries in the Rammstein format will continue to provide Ukraine with the necessary assistance to defend itself against the aggressor.
