Howard Buffett will build grain elevators in Ukraine
Howard Buffett’s company invested in the construction of an elevator in Ukraine, which will be located on the border with Hungary.
The Howard G. Buffett Foundation company, together with ADM, is currently building a “dry port” in Ukraine for grain transshipment. Howard Buffett, an American philanthropist and one of the largest private donors of Ukraine, told about this in an interview with Latifundist.
“This will be an elevator with a storage capacity of 30,000 tons. The grain from the railway will be reloaded into containers and go where ADM directs them,” said Howard Buffett.
Also, the patron emphasized that this project will be finished first, and then maybe 5-10 more similar projects will appear.
“We will rent them out. In this way, the money will remain in Ukraine (it will go to the accounts of the fund officially registered here) and I will spend it on charity, and farmers who deal with grain will have the opportunity to develop their business,” explained Howard Buffett.
