In October, the “Pivdennyi” port handled more than 86.000 tons of grain cargo

Last month, SE “MTP Pivdennyi” processed 86 thousand 500 tons of export agricultural products.
A total of 48,400 tons of meal, 9,600 tons of wheat, 26,000 tons of sunflower seeds, and 2,500 tons of barley were processed in October, according to the State Enterprise “MTP “Pivdennyi”. Agricultural products were loaded onto 10 ships as part of the implementation of the “Grain Initiative”.
In total, 162,415 tons of grain were exported from state-owned enterprises through the “grain corridor”; harbor workers processed 14 vessels.
Previously, USM reported that the export of Ukrainian grain in October exceeded 4 million tons. If the “grain corridor” is closed, Ukraine will be able to export only 1.5-2 million tons of grain per month.
