Kernel has sold 5.5 million liters of oil in the Netherlands since 2024

The Ukrainian agricultural holding reported that since the launch of its own brand of sunflower oil Bestolie&Kernel in the Netherlands, it has already sold 5.5 million liters of products.
Kernel continues to develop sales of packaged sunflower oil on the European market, USM reported in the company’s press service.
The Bestolie&Kernel brand was launched in 2024 together with the Dutch distribution company Fangoo&Zon Impex. Kernel notes that the company previously produced products for Fangoo&Zon Impex in a private label format. After the launch of the joint brand, the Ukrainian manufacturer is responsible for production and quality control, while the Dutch partner is engaged in distribution on the local market.
“The European market is very competitive and closed to new brands. It is dominated by large international FMCG companies and private labels of supermarket chains. It is difficult to get on the shelf, and it is even more difficult to stay. Therefore, it is important for us that Bestolie&Kernel has been present on the market for a year and a half and has the trust of customers,” said Serhiy Neroshchin, director of the marketing and sales department of packaged products at Kernel.
The company considers the development of its own brands on the European market to be part of the strategy of transitioning from exporting raw materials to selling products with higher added value.
Earlier, a Russian drone hit the Kernel terminal for the second time in a month.
