Kernel is not considering relocation abroad and continues to rebuild assets in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Kernel agricultural holding has invested about $40 million in the restoration of facilities damaged by Russian attacks.

This was stated by the company’s CEO Yevgeny Osypov during the Economic Resilience Forum, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

According to him, the company is primarily rebuilding those facilities without which it is impossible to maintain operational activities. Part of the damaged infrastructure that is not critical for production is not being restored at the moment.

Kernel is also not considering relocating its business abroad. Osypov explained this by the fact that the company is one of the key infrastructure operators of the Ukrainian agricultural sector, through whose facilities a significant part of the country’s production passes.

Instead, the company plans to focus on maintaining the operation of Ukrainian infrastructure and exporting products with higher added value.
