Kernel sold three elevators with a total capacity of 131 thousand tons

In the 2026 fiscal year, Kernel Agroholding sold three elevators in Cherkasy, Poltava and Kharkiv regions.
This became known from the company’s annual report.
The total simultaneous storage capacity of the sold facilities was 131 thousand tons.
Kernel explained that the decision was made after reviewing the efficiency and strategic feasibility of the assets. The elevators were classified as non-core due to their proximity to other company facilities and duplication of grain procurement zones.
After optimizing the network, Kernel operates 30 operating elevators with a total simultaneous storage capacity of 2.1 million tons.
Three more elevators with a total capacity of 234 thousand tons are temporarily out of operation due to their proximity to areas of hostilities.
In the 2026 fiscal year, the company also switched to a cluster model for managing the elevator network. The assets were combined into 10 clusters, each of which mainly includes three to four elevators within a radius of about 60–70 km.
Kernel previously warned of an increase in the cost of storing grain at its own elevators.
