Kubrakov: 1.5 million tons of products have already been exported through the Ukrainian maritime corridor
Since the start of the new Ukrainian sea corridor, about 1.5 million tons of products have been sent for export.
Ukraine exported almost 1.5 million metric tons of products through the alternative sea corridor. However, deep-water ports are needed to revive the economy. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kubrakov, Ukrinform reports.
The official also emphasized that the Danube ports took over almost 50% of the cargo traffic when the ports of Great Odesa were not working.
In total, from August 2022 to July 2023, 32.9 million tons of agricultural products were exported to the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe. To fulfill a larger volume, it is necessary to focus on export logistics, noted Kubrakov.
