More grain wagons move to the ports than to the western crossings
The accumulation of wagons in the direction of the ports is currently approximately 11,000 units, and 10,500 units are heading to the western border crossings.
A week ago, the indicators were at parity, reports Rail.insider with reference to representatives of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
As for wagons with grain, the number of those heading to the ports of Great Odesa and Izmail is more than double the queue in the direction of the western border crossings. In particular, more than 5,000 wagons with grain are headed to the ports, and 2,000 to the western border crossings.
As for the processing of grain cargoes in ports, a decrease is currently recorded due to prolonged air alarms. So, over the last five days, unloading at the ports decreased from 1,000 to 1,100 to approximately 900 wagons. Another 120–130 wagons per day are unloaded in the Danube ports.
