Nibulon commented on the information about leaving Mykolaiv amid the conflict with local authorities

Agroholding “Nibulon” denied rumors about its intention to leave Mykolaiv and announced its continuation of work in the city.

This was reported by Delo.ua with reference to the press service of the agroholding.

The company reacted to information about a possible exit from the city against the background of a discussion regarding rent payments for the port territory, which was damaged by the war.

Nibulon emphasized that the company “was, remains and hopes to remain Mykolaiv.” The company added that it is ready for a constructive dialogue with local authorities and the community.

Despite the long blockade of the Mykolaiv port and mining of the water area, the company continues to fulfill its financial obligations, Nibulon noted. In particular, this concerns the payment of rent for water areas that are currently not actually used.

According to the agricultural holding’s estimates, confirmed by independent experts, the company’s total losses reached $573 million. At the same time, the company continues to pay taxes and provide employment. Personal income tax revenues to the local budget increased from UAH 88.6 million in 2023 to UAH 150 million in 2025.

The press service added that the company is in constant dialogue with local authorities on resolving the issue of rent and further activities in the region.

Earlier, one of the local TV channels reported that Nibulon is considering the possibility of leaving Mykolaiv in the absence of a decision on privileges for renting land that may be contaminated with explosives.

Earlier, USM reported that Nibulon will open an office in Romania to work on the Danube.
