Russia wants to establish a ferry connection with Turkey through the port of Novorossiysk
The government of russian federation is considering the issue of organizing a regular ferry connection with Turkey through the Novorossiysk seaport.
This topic was discussed on September 26 at a meeting of the headquarters of the terrorist country’s transport and logistics corridors, reports rosZMI.
The Port of Novorossiysk is considered by russian federation as a new business center for the region, so the government is trying to expand cargo and passenger transportation with Turkey.
Earlier, the president of the terrorist country, putin, stated that in 2021, trade turnover between russian federation and Turkey increased by 57%, and in January-May 2022, it was twice as much as a year earlier.
In general, since the beginning of the year, the cargo turnover of the port of Novorossiysk has increased by 5%. In all other ports, positive dynamics are not observed at all. In the port of Tuapse, cargo turnover fell by 23%, in Rostov it fell by 14%, and in the port of Kavkaz by 20%.
In the ports of the Caspian Sea in russian federation, things are also bad: cargo handling in Makhachkala has fallen by 36% since the beginning of the year, and in Astrakhan – by 10%. Apparently, even the growth of foreign trade with Iran could not compensate for the drop in shipments to other countries.
