Russians forged documents for grain export from Mariupol

More than 8 thousand tons of wheat stolen from occupied Mariupol are being transported on the Irkutsk ship to Algeria.
This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist for the SeaKrime project of the Peacemaker Center.
According to her, from April 20 to 24, Irkutsk (IMO:9419084) loaded 8422.72 tons of wheat in occupied Mariupol.
“After that, the dry cargo ship entered the Russian port of Temryuk to close the border. The documents were falsified, as if the loading took place in Temryuk, although the ship did not carry out cargo operations in this port,” added Kateryna Yaresko.
Exporter: Mostagro (TIN 9701208412), one of the companies that systematically steal grain from the occupied Ukrainian territories.
The ship indicates the port of destination in the AIS as Algeria.
The Defense Intelligence War&Sanctions portal reported that in February 2024, the SBU reported suspicions to the ship’s captain of violating the procedure for entry/exit to/from the TOT of Ukraine.
In particular, it is known that this ship, formerly called Salvinia, transported ilmenite (the main raw material for titanium production) from Chornomorsk to the Romanian port of Constanta, from where the raw material was picked up by the sanctioned Syrian ship Souria (new name – San Damian, IMO:9274331) and delivered to the temporarily occupied Feodosia.
During 2024-2025, the ship exported, in particular to Egypt, about 40 thousand tons of Ukrainian coking coal from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian port of Mariupol.
Also, on November 25, 2025, Ukraine imposed sanctions on the ship.
