Seafarers can register for CES testing online

Ukrainian seafarers can confirm their qualifications using CES testing by submitting an application on the restored website of the Inspectorate for Training and Certification of Seafarers.

For testing seafarers, the Ministry of Infrastructure chose the CES 6.0 version. It will be possible to register for the test online, but the exam will have to be taken at the service centers of the SE “Morrichservice”.

Also Morrichservice published a short instruction for those who want to register using the restored ITCS website itcs.gov.ua. To do this, you need to go to the website and download the application “Seafarer’s Electronic Cabinet”. After installing the application and passing the verification, you can select the “Services” section, among which there will be an application for the SQC exam. Next, you need to fill an application for the SQC by selecting the sub-item “Passing the CES 6.0 exam” and “Submit an application”.

The application is considered by the operators, after which the seafarer is invited to the Morrichservice service center for a test.

As USM previously reported, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, restored the operation of maritime services. They will work in test mode for the next month.
