The first sailor confirmed his qualification online through the “Diya” portal. The sailor will soon receive a ready certificate with confirmation from the Shipping Administration through a representative.
In Poland, a space has been opened where Ukrainian sailors will be able to take exams to confirm qualifications and assign a rank.
The sailor managed to confirm his seniority through the qualification commission. If this procedure through an agent costs UAH 4,000, then in the legal field, such an issue cost him UAH 121.
The Diya portal is already preparing to launch an online service for seafarers. The service is currently in beta testing.
International organizations support Ukraine in its decision to introduce services for seafarers on the “Diya” portal.
Currently, three digital tools are operating in Ukraine, which enable seafarers to obtain the necessary documents remotely.
Ukrainian sailors will soon be able to receive diploma services through “Diya”.
