The Ukrainian Parliament supported draft laws aimed at combating the “shadow” export of agricultural products.

Over 20% of Ukrainian grain exports are carried out by risky enterprises. The Bureau of Economic Security has made recommendations to the government to remedy the situation.

The Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) called for the abandonment of legislative innovations on the regulation of grain exports.

During the first month of operation of the parallel “grain corridor”, which runs overland through Romania and Bulgaria, Ukraine transported 4 million tons of grain.

Agroholding “Kernel” purchased two sea vessels for the transportation of grain cargoes and oil.

This month, Ukraine exported 1.81 million tons of grain. For the same period last year — 3.652 million tons.

In September, the export of Ukrainian agricultural products amounted to 3.6 million tons, but it is necessary to export about 6 million tons per month.

Since the beginning of the 2023/24 fiscal year (from July 1 to October 20, 2023), the export of Ukrainian grain and leguminous crops has reached 8.02 million tons.

Since the beginning of October, more than 790,000 tons of grain cargoes have been transported by railway, of which almost 350,000 tons — in the direction of ports.

In the first quarter of the 2023-2024 marketing year, “Nibulon” sent 596,000 tons of grain cargoes for export.
