The Armed Forces hit a captured gas tower in the Black Sea (video)

Russian invaders used the platform, in particular, to distort GPS signals in the Black Sea.

The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, hit an oil and gas platform in the Black Sea, which was seized by Russia. This was stated by the spokesman of the Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk.

The Russians used this location for GPS spoofing in order to hide the facts of ships’ visits to occupied Ukrainian ports, violating sanctions.

Half a day before the attack, the enemy dropped reconnaissance equipment and up to 40 personnel on the platform.

Cyberflour OSINT community identified the location of the strike. And NASA satellite images confirm that the affected tower is still burning.

The day before, USM wrote that Defense Intelligence fighters with the support of the Armed Forces Navy destroyed the military equipment and personnel of the invaders during the raid on the Kinburn spit.
