Defense Intelligence has identified 26 vessels that Russia uses to transport oil, gas and stolen grain

Among the vessels exposed are dry cargo ships transporting agricultural products from the TOT, oil tankers and gas carriers of the sanctioned Arctic LNG-2 project.
The Ministry of Defense’s Directorate of Maritime Affairs and Communications has published data on 26 vessels that Russia uses to transport oil, oil products, liquefied natural gas and agricultural products from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The information was published in the “Sea Vessels” section of the War&Sanctions portal.
The list includes oil tankers transporting Russian oil and oil products from the ports of the Black and Baltic Seas in the interests of Lukoil, Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz, Novatek, Tatneft and Gazprom.
The Directorate also identified dry cargo ships that transport agricultural products from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine through the ports of Berdyansk, Sevastopol, Kerch and Feodosia.
Separately, the list includes LNG tankers transporting liquefied gas from the floating storage facility SAAM FSU (IMO 9915090). It stores LNG from the sanctioned Russian project “Arctic LNG-2”.
According to intelligence, 18 of the 26 vessels are not under sanctions by any of Ukraine’s partner countries.
Among them is the bulk carrier LAMAR S (IMO 9154505), which in 2026 repeatedly loaded wheat at the Avlita terminal in temporarily occupied Sevastopol. Later, the grain was delivered, in particular, to Syria.
Another vessel, the dry cargo ship NAYA FALCON (IMO 8033120), this year exported baking soda and granulated wheat bran from Sevastopol to Egypt and Cyprus.
The list also includes the tanker GREGAL (IMO 9378876), owned by the UAE-based Cymare Navigation FZC, affiliated with Russia’s Sovcomflot.
The GUR stressed the need to synchronize sanctions policy and detain vessels that violate restrictions.
“Synchronization of sanctions efforts and detention of violating vessels are necessary to limit the aggressor’s maritime logistics and deprive Russia of the resources to continue the war,” the intelligence agency said.
As USM reported, Britain has imposed sanctions against six more Russian vessels.
