In Vladivostok during the marathon, the chief navigator of the Pacific Fleet Yevhenii Vityutnev died.
During the “Bridges of Vladivostok” marathon, the chief navigator of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Federation, captain 2nd rank Yevhenii Vityutnev, died, rosZMI reports.
A participant in the marathon felt sick during a long climb. Doctors tried to help him, but they could not save him.
The Primorye Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the death of a 41-year-old marathon participant in Vladivostok, without naming him, and announced an investigation.
Reports of Vityutnev’s death emphasize that all marathon participants underwent a medical check-up before being allowed to start.
