The first sea trials of the boat from USAID took place in Turkey
The pilot boat, built to the order of USPA, passed sea trials in Turkey.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
On Tuesday, October 1, the first sea trials of the new pilot boat took place in Turkey. The vessel was built by order of USPA at the Turkish shipyard Izmir with funding from USAID as part of the “Economic Support of Ukraine” project.
This is the first of two boats built at the Turkish shipyard. Sea trials of the second boat are scheduled for next month.
It should be noted that the USAID project “Economic Support of Ukraine” provides for the purchase of three new pilot boats for the USPA.
We will remind, in May, USPA handed over the first pilot boat, built by a Ukrainian company and handed over to UMS MARYN.
