The Italian shipbuilding company joined the defense alliance of Ukraine

Five Italian companies joined the Alliance of Defense Industries of Ukraine. Among them is the shipbuilding company Fincantieri S.p.A.
Thus, on November 16, a meeting was held with the Italian delegation, which included representatives of large Italian enterprises producing a wide range of weapons. The participants of the meeting discussed cooperation in various sectors of the defense-industrial complex, reports the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
Industrial and technological leaders in the defense and security sectors of Italy offered their projects for implementation. It was also about cooperation between Italian and Ukrainian manufacturers of military products.
Five companies whose representatives took part in the meeting joined the Alliance of Defense Industries of Ukraine. Among them: Leonardo S.p.A., Fincantieri, Elettronica, Iveco Defense Vehicles and FAE Group S.p.A.
It is known that Fincantieri is an Italian shipbuilding company based in Trieste. Already the largest shipbuilder in Europe, after the acquisition of Vard, the Fincantieri group doubled in size and became the fourth largest in the world. The company builds both commercial and military vessels.
