The Netherlands will allocate 75 million euros for the maritime defense of Ukraine


The Netherlands, together with its partners, will purchase naval and air military equipment for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The International Support Fund for Ukraine, co-financed by the Netherlands, announced the purchase of military equipment for Ukraine for 175 million euros. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands, Kaisa Ollongren.

A significant part of this aid package will be aimed at strengthening the maritime defense of Ukraine.

The aid package will include modernized systems to protect Ukraine’s maritime borders and the latest technologies to counter threats at sea. This will help Ukraine strengthen its ability to protect its territorial waters and ensure the safety of navigation in the Black Sea.
