The number of grain carriers to the ports has tripled
The number of shipments of wagons with grain to the ports increased at least 3.2 times.
In October, 982,600 tons of grain were sent to Ukrainian ports by rail. This indicator is 3.2 times higher than in September. This is reported by Latifundist.
On the other hand, 748,000 tons of grain went in the direction of the western border crossings, which is 2.6% less than in September.
In general, the volume of railway transportation of export goods reached 1730.6 thousand tons. Thus, the number of shipments in October is 61% higher than in September.
As a result, rates for railway transportation increased by 10–15 dollars per ton. The activation of exports to seaports and the lack of an opportunity to fix railway transportation rates for future periods created excessive excitement in the spot for railway transportation.
