The owner of Ust-Dunaisk port commented on cooperation with “Kranship”

The owner of Elixir Ukraine LLC and the port of Ust-Dunaisk Valery Vihrenko publicly commented on the cooperation with “Kranship”.

When the company entered the port after privatization, they immediately began the process of liquidation of the old enterprise, Valery Vihrenko said in an interview with USM.

However, the registration of a new operator takes time, as he must have certain equipment to meet the requirements. Therefore, in the first months, the port had to handle the cargo with the involvement of “Kranship”.

The port leased the equipment to the company, because it could not use it without the status of a port operator.

Currently, Ust-Dunaisk already operates through its own operator, several employees of “Kranship” have been hired.

It will be recalled that a few weeks ago the publication “Hromadske” reported that Ust-Dunaisk was allegedly under the control of “pro-Russian structures”, which constitutes a “threat to national security”.

In the story of the publication, it is claimed that “Elixir Ukraine” allegedly transferred the port to “Kranship”. According to journalists, this is dangerous for the country, because “Kranship” belongs to Andrii Ivanov’s business group, and part of Ivanov’s business continued to work in Crimea after 2014, but after that, in 2021, it came under the sanctions of the Russian Federation.
