The queue of wagons to the ports of Great Odesa decreased by another 30%


During the past week, the number of wagons to the seaports of Odesa decreased by 30%. Also, the volume of shipment of wagons in the port of Izmail fell slightly.

Over the past week, the number of wagons with grain in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa has decreased by another 30%. This was reported by Valery Tkachov, deputy director of the commercial department of Ukrzaliznytsia, Rail Insider reports.

Thus, as of July 10, 555 wagons were heading to the ports of Odesa — 238 wagons less than in the previous week. The daily rate of grain unloading in the ports was 190–192 wagons per day.

Also, the accumulation of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail decreased somewhat. As of July 9, 1,925 wagons were moving to the Danube port. This figure is 30 cars less than the previous week.

In general, as of July 10, more than 6,500 wagons with cargo of various types moved in the direction of the Izmail port.
